Does Storyball collect data about my child?
No. Child profiles, scores, medals and playtime are stored on the phone and are not sent anywhere. The app has no account and no registration. The only thing that leaves the phone is a request for game content to download, which carries nothing about your child.
What is on the phone
The profiles a grown-up sets up — a name and an avatar — along with each child's progress, medals, scores and playtime. All of it lives in the app's own storage on the device. Delete the app and it is gone with it.
There is no account to make, no email address to hand over and nothing to sign in to.
What the Bluetooth link carries
Instructions to the ball and readings back from it: which story to play, which movement just happened, how much battery is left. It is used to run the toy and it goes no further than the two devices.
Nothing about the child is on that link, because nothing about the child is known to the ball.
What is downloaded
Stories, games and artwork, fetched from our servers so the ball has something new to play. Those requests ask for files; they do not carry personal information, and nothing about your child goes up with them.
There are no in-app purchases and no subscriptions, so no payment details exist anywhere in the app. The full policy is on the privacy page.
